In Search of Self is a book of stories, poems, and thoughts of a young girl growing up in the inner cities of Jamaica.  A girl who experienced abandonment at an early age and subconsciously attracted the pain she felt. She got pregnant as a teen while searching for love. She struggled with self-esteem issues while trying to hold her head up high to be someone. The book ended with her leaving her home country Jamaica to start a new life in America. Her story is suspenseful, dramatic, motivational, and inspiring.
